Well.I really enjoyed the plot to the story,I fully expected your typical "assistant/boss"office hook up,but had a different twist than your usual romance.For starters.The assistant was not your"usual"gorgeous,lusty looking assistant,according to her boss(a major a$$ hole,in my opinion)she was a plain,sexless scare crow.He treated her like total $h!t for a good portion of the story and she put up with it because her situation called for her needing her job.In the "hero's"arrogance,he didn't get his promotion so he devised a plan to fix his image with the help of his straight,laced assistant.They worked it out and of course ended up falling in love.A little hard to believe but it happened none the less.If this had some"reality"to it,I'd see a divorce in their future.I think his guilt over how he treated her made him settle and his personality will certainly rear it's ugly head soon,it's not likely to change after all the years of being such a d!ck.
